WT MAST, THE MIDDLEWEIGHT EXTENDING TO 30 METRES AND CAPABLE OF LIFTING A 130 KG HEADLOAD
There are
many applications where a PT series mast does not have the
lifting capacity or the extended height desired. WT masts, also
part of Cark's Phase 2 series, have greater strength and can reach greater
heights by virtue of their 153 mm (6 inch) diameter base tube.
With a maximum extended height of 30 metres most WT series masts
have to be transported in the horizontal position. One option for
doing this is the use of one of Clark's optional Roof Trolleys, as shown at left. Clark have developed over many
years, these accessories which enable the mast to be carried
horizontally on the vehicle roof and swung into a vertical
position when required to operate. All have been made to enable
the equipment to be handled by one man in safety, not
withstanding the heavy construction. Often used unguyed up to 20
metres, guying adds stability in windy conditions. Top guying collars can
be arranged for guying at 90 or 120 degrees. A Guy Winch , which tensions all guys
similtaneously, is available and recommended for extension above
20 metres in windy conditions.
The WT series incorporates all of the design features of the PT masts. Similarly there is a full range of general Accessories and Installation Accessories to make life easy. Where a mast, ready to use without installation, is required, Clark offer WT masts carried on purpose built trailers, the 802 Trailer Mast Series.
